Binibinis get together for Gloria's birthday

MANILA, Philippines - After seeing each other in the Bb. Pilipinas 2011 Press Presentation last March 8 at the Sofitel Hotel (published in Funfare on March 14), another reunion was held last April 6 when Nini Ramos-Licaros, the first Bb. Pilipinas International (she was a semi-finalist in the 1968 Miss International), graciously opened her house and played host to her fellow Binibinis.

According to Chiqui Brosas-Hahn, 1975 Miss Universe fourth runner-up, and Maricar Mendoza-Du, 1981 Bb. Pilipinas Universe, the group had a blast during their three-hour reunion-cum-belated-celebration of 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz’s birthday, over a sumptuous lunch and mouth-watering desserts prepared by Simonette de los Reyes, 1970 Bb. Pilipinas Universe.
