MANILA, Philippines - Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California, will conduct a SPED seminar on Implementing an Effective Inclusion Program for Children with Special Needs on April 3. Other seminars she is scheduled to conduct are: How to Cope When Your Child or Student is Special on April 10; Utilizing Instructional & Curricular Modifications for Special Needs Students in an Inclusion Program, April 17; Basic Sign Language Class, April 17 and 24, (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.); Utilizing Effective Strategies to Serve the Needs of Special Children, May 1; and Preparing an Effective Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a Vital Tool in the SPED Program, May 8. Seminars and classes will be held at 98 Matatag, Bgy. Central, Quezon City. Tel. numbers are 0918-3588855 and 434-6064. Unless otherwise specified, seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. Weekday classes on the above modules may be conducted as per arrangement.
