Stardev offers summer band workshop

MANILA, Philippines - This summer, Stardev Music Studios is offering a band workshop.

The program called Camp Rock will serve as a band clinic that will be open to all amateur bands.

Michelle Nikki Junia, an educator by heart and owner of Stardev, said it’s important for a group to blend well and sound solid.

Junia said Camp Rock will focus on how the individual talents of band members may be hemmed together so that the band plays solid music, live and on stage.

Like all programs of Junia’s two music schools — Stardev and Musikgarten Manila — the building of self-confidence receives much focus because it’s the stuff that turns professional musicians into stars.

Junia is a US-licensed educator on early childhood music education. She graduated cum laude at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music, and she recently finished her training in early childhood music education in Chicago, Illinois.

Michelle was also privileged to be trained in Los Angeles, California, by Seth Riggs, one of the best and most successful voice teachers in the United States who is also the mentor of singers like the late Michael Jackson, Prince, Barbra Streisand, Anita Baker, Madonna, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder and Michael Bolton.
