Korean children's choir show on Feb. 25
MANILA, Philippines - The Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir presents the YAENOEUL Children’s Choir from Korea in concert at the Francisco Santiago Hall BDO South Tower De La Costa cor. Makati Ave., Makati City.
The YAENOEUL Children’s Choir based in Daegun South Korea, was established in 2004 by the YAENOEUL Music Center which plays a pioneering role in the choral activities of Daegu region. Its artistic director is Maestro Jae-Joon Lee, and conductors are Young Sang Hong and Young Seung Yang.
Together performing with the Children’s Choir is the Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir under the tutelage of Ma. Theresa Vizconde Roldan and Jude Roldan. The choir is recognized as one of the Philippines’ best children’s choirs having been a Category Champion in the Sacred Music Category of the third Choir Olympics in Bremen, Germany. Likewise, the choir won the gold medal in the Gospel and Spiritual Category, silver medals in the Sacred and Contemporary Music Categories in the first Asian Choir Games in Indonesia in 2007, and the highest gold award in the Children’s Choir Category in the first National Choral Competition at the CCP in 2009.
