MANILA, Philippines - Art 2 Art continues to bring “usapang sining at kultura para sa lahat” this month as host-prima ballerina Lisa Macuja interviews personalities from various art disciplines.

Aired nationwide every Sunday, 3:30 to 4 p.m. on dzRH, Art 2 Art can be viewed simultaneously on Cablelink cable television’s Channel 9 and accessed on the Internet through http://dzrh.tripod.com/> .

Produced by the Manila Broadcasting Company, Art 2 Art features the following episodes:

The Met is home to the art collection of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas consisting of works of Filipino masters. It also offers exhibits year-round and special Interactive Stations where kids can hold and explore art objects.

Sept. 26 — To cap the month, Art 2 Art pays tribute to National Artist for Architecture Juan Nakpil. Nakpil is noted for such structures as the University of the Philippines administration building and library, the Quezon Institute and the Social Security System building. He also undertook the restoration of the Quiapo Church and the Jose Rizal shrine in Calamba, Laguna. Architect, author and professor Manuel Noche serves as resource speaker for this episode. Noche shares why the late national artist is considered a pioneer in his field and underscores why there is an urgent need to preserve Nakpil’s legacy.
