The Vampire's assistant flexes newfound powers

MANILA, Philippines - Newly undead, Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) joins the Cirque Du Freak, a touring sideshow filled with monstrous creatures which include bearded woman Madame Truska (Salma Hayek) and vampire Larsten Crepsley (John Reilly). As Darren flexes his newfound powers as a vampire-to-be, he becomes a treasured pawn between the vampires and their deadlier foes, the vampaneze led by Mr. Tiny (Michael Cerveris). William Dafoe of the Spiderman series fame also joins the fray as a mediator between the warring groups of the underworld.

The Vampire’s Assistant, released and distributed by United International Pictures through Solar Entertainment Corp., is now on its second week.
