Upcoming SPED seminar-workshops

Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special educator in California, will conduct the following SPED seminar-workshops: Music Therapy for Children with Special Needs with music therapist Celeste Sanchez on Oct. 19; How to Cope When Your Child or Student is SPECIAL with process facilitator Virgilio Antonio, Oct. 26; Preparing an Effective Individualized Education Plan, Nov. 9; Effective Handwriting Strategies for Children with Special Needs, Nov. 15 with Anna Yap Tan Pascual, a top occupational therapist; and Techniques to Become Effective Educators and Parents, Nov. 23. All seminars will be conducted at Protégé SPED Center, Unit 1A Rexxon’s Arcade, 36 Xavierville Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City (with tel. nos. 0918-3588855, 436-2620 or 415-1959). Seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration starts at 8 a.m. Protégé conducts weekday classes on SPED Teaching Strategies, IEP Process and Writing and Basic Sign Language.
