Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung return for 'Made in Korea' Season 2
MANILA, Philippines — Korean star Hyun Bin headlines the second season of "Made in Korea" to reprise his Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actor-winning role as an intelligence operative.
The upcoming season will see Jung Woo-sung's Jang Geon-young plotting his revenge after being framed by Bin's Baek Ki-tae, now the deputy director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency.
Ki-tae's wealth and influence continues to grow through his drug operations, but political turmoil and spread of discontent will have Geon-young step up to the plate anew.
"With more at stake than ever before, Geon-young and Ki-tae will break every rule and cross every line to eliminate the other once and for all," goes a synopsis for the second season.
The first season's director, Woo Min-ho,. and writer Park Eun-kyo also return. Woo Do-hwan reprises his role as Ki-tae's younger brother, Baek Ki-hyun

The new season will debut on streaming platform Disney+ with a two-episode premiere on September 9 followed by two new episodes each Wednesday through September 23.
"Made in Korea" was one of the streamer's most viewed Korean original content and nominated for three Baeksang Arts Awards earlier this year.
It was Hyun's first Best Actor prize after two Most Popular Actor wins (for "A Millionaire's First Love" and "Crash Landing On You") and a Daesang or Grand Prize recipient in the television category for "Secret Garden."
The other nominations were for Min-ho for Best Director and cinematographer Kim Tae-sung for Best Technical Achievement.
