Matet de Leon airs frustration over family issue

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Matet de Leon has once again addressed public comments surrounding the ongoing inheritance issue involving her siblings, using social media to air her frustrations over the continued attention on the family matter.
Over the weekend, Matet posted a TikTok video of herself lip-syncing to the song "Banal na Aso, Santong Kabayo" by Filipino rock band Yano. While the video itself drew engagement from her followers, it was her responses in the comment section that quickly caught the attention of netizens.
A TikTok user commented that the issue should be resolved privately, writing, "Sa'kin lang naman tama na, sana ma-resolve privately."
In response, Matet expressed frustration over the persistent public discussion surrounding the controversy.

"Kami ba ang gag-? O ang mga tao? Nananahimik kami. Mana ng mana. Nakaka suka naaaaaaa! Wala kami ire-resolve. Ayoko mag-resolve. Manahimik na lang mga kup@l na nagco-comment na akala eh alam lahat. Ok na yun. Wala akong pakialam kay Ian," she wrote.
Another netizen echoed the call for privacy, arguing that the family was already handling the matter privately and that social media users and the media were only making the situation worse by continually bringing it up.
The commenter added that the family's personal issues should be respected and that people should refrain from interfering in matters that do not concern them.
Matet responded sarcastically, saying, "Walang privacy privacy!!! Dapat naka labas lahat!!! lahaaaaat!!! Hahahahaha."
The actress has previously addressed the inheritance controversy on social media, with several of her posts drawing reactions from followers and reigniting discussions about the family's reported dispute.
