Maja Salvador makes showbiz comeback with major projects under MQuest Ventures

After giving birth to her daughter Maria in May last year in Canada, Maja Salvador is itching to return to acting and hosting.
In fact, she is ecstatic to be headlining major shows under MQuest Ventures. These projects include the fifth season of the game show “Emojination,” the revenge drama “Athena,” the dance competition “Isayaw Mo” and a film.
“Maybe I just missed working,” she told select press after her recent contract signing with MQuest Ventures. “Even though I was pregnant with Maria, there are several projects lined-up already. I’m excited to do these, but medyo natagalan tayo because kinailangan ko munang palakihin ang anak ko kahit papano.”
“Now that I’m back to being workaholic, I’m ready to work again. So, when MQuest, TV5 and Cignal presented the projects to me, I got excited.”
According to Maja, “Emojination” was supposed to have a season break only, but the break got extended because she requested enough time to lose weight and prepare.

“The ‘Isayaw Mo,’ I think it will be in the last quarter. I’m even more excited to do the teleserye. I’m excited about the story and who my co-actors will be.”
On the subject of her upcoming film although she didn’t divulge any details yet, she said, “Andun yung Maja Salvador na artista ulit na nagugutom ulit. So, I’m very excited to make a good movie and a series.”
The actress is grateful to the fans who have been supporting her even though she’s on a maternity break and have stayed with her as she continues her “reign as a royalty of the Kapatid Network,” which has dubbed her “MAJesty.”
“I said sana mag-one-year-old muna si Maria. But because of our beloved fans, supporters, I’m returning to work… I’m really eager to return to work, but yung nalilito na ako sa, ‘Do I want to be a mom first or want to be an actress first?’ But at least now that Maria is turning one, (I’m working again). ‘Pang-gatas mo ‘to anak,’” she said with a laugh.

Present at the contract signing event were MVP Group of Companies and MediaQuest chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan; MediaQuest, Cignal and MQuest Ventures president and CEO Jane Jimenez-Basas; MediaQuest Group chief finance officer John Andal; Crown Artist Management COO Vania Ysabel Padilla-Edralin; and Maja’s husband, Crown Artist Management CEO Rambo Nuñez.
Jane expressed her admiration for Maja, saying, “She is more than just a phenomenal talent — Maja is family to us at MediaQuest. Her passion, versatility and unwavering commitment to her craft have made a lasting impact, not just on our network, but on the audiences who continue to embrace her.”
“We are truly excited for this new chapter with Maja, knowing that she will keep delivering inspiring and unforgettable moments for her fans,” she added.
Maja has been topbilling TV5 shows since 2020, including “Sunday Noontime Live!,” “Niña Niño,” “PoPinoy,” “Oh My Korona” and four seasons of “Emojination.”
