2 dead, 5 hurt in Caloocan fire

MANILA, Philippines — Two people, including a 52-year-old man with disability, died in a fire that broke out at a residential area in Barangay 81, Caloocan City on Wednesday.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the fatalities as Robert Alinas Guerrero and Liane Nicole Dacayamat, 16.
Five others suffered injuries due to lacerations, abrasions and electrocution, according to the BFP.
The fire displaced around 90 families and destroyed 70 houses.
The fire started at 4:50 p.m. and reached the second alarm in just three minutes.
Firefighters declared the fire under control at 9:57 p.m.
Arson probers said they have yet to determine the cause of the fire as well as the estimated cost of damage to property.
