Rico Blanco reveals friends with exes, not 'close' with last girlfriend
MANILA, Philippines — Singer-songwriter Rico Blanco revealed that he is not "super close" to his last girlfriend but has remained friends with all of his exes.
Although he did not mention names, many speculated that Rico is referring to actress Maris Racal, his last well-known relationship that ended in a highly publicized breakup.
In his interview with "Oh My Gani," Rico shared with the public some details about his personal life, including his perspective on being friends with ex-partners.
“Okay lang bang maging friends pa rin sa ex?” host Ganiel Krishnan asked Rico.
“Yeah. I’m friends with all my exes. And all my exes knows this. It’s just that I tend not to be super close to the last one. Siyempre, mas delicate pa ‘yon, e," Rico said.
“But I think over time, and if naka-move forward na, it depends on where you are in life. So, usually, maybe the last one is the one I’m not close to,” he added.
Aside from Maris, another female celebrity who has been linked to Rico is KC Concepcion but the two neither confirmed nor denied it.
In the same interview, Rico also mentioned that he was in a relationship with a dermatologist in 2014 but they also said that they were not destined to be together.
