Food expo at Megamall winds up today

Entrepreneurs, traders, food processors and exporters have until today to catch the Fifth Philippine Food Expo, the only all-Filipino consumer food industry event, being held at the SM Megamalls Megatrade Hall.
Over 230 local food processors and manufacturers are taking part in the four-day expo in the biggest food show for the year thus far.
As a penultimate offering, a seminar on updates on the requirements of the Bureau of Food and Drugs will be held at 2 p.m. with BFAD deputy director Ofelia Alba as resource person.
With the theme "Enhanced Productivity Towards Competitiveness," the event is organized by the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization, Inc. (Philfoodex) in cooperation with exhibition organizer Cut Unlimited.
The Food Expo is supported by the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Agriculture, the Buy Pinoy Movement of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII), SM Megamall, the Center for International Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the National Food Authority (NFA), the Philippine Exporters Confederation (Philexport), Market Encounter Goes to Manila (MEGMA) Foundation, the Land Bank of the Philippines, and the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA).
Media partners are The Star, Cook Magazine, Flavors Magazine, MARID Agribusiness Magazine, and The Foreign Post.
