Mazda dealership gears up for full operations

-
Mazda Philippines’ managing director Dave Macasadia announced recently the forthcoming inauguration of Mazda’s maiden dealership in the Philippines, Mazda Quezon Avenue.

The group is apparently implementing an aggressive plan to build its key dealerships in the country. The new dealership is located within the so-called automotive row of Quezon City. "It was of strategic importance that we build our first dealership where we can serve our market immediately. As far as locations are concerned, Quezon Avenue remains to be one of the more important and robust car dealership areas. While it is a bustling commercial area, it is not very far from the residential areas, making it ideal for both sales and service," said Macasadia.

The dealership has been on "soft" opening mode since Mazda Philippines launched its models last February. Today, April 15, 2004, the dealership will officially inaugurate its facilities, and begin to offer after sales service and spare parts, in addition to selling the latest Mazda models, the Mazda6 and the Mazda Tribute.

Mazda Quezon Avenue boasts of being the first in the region to fully adopt Mazda’s new "zoom-zoom" showroom design concept, designed to communicate to every customer what Mazda advocates as its brand identity.

"When a customer enters the Mazda Quezon Avenue showroom, he or she will immediately have an idea of what zoom-zoom is all about. There is a definite feeling of the exhilaration and joy of motion, from the color scheme to the designs of the models in the showroom. It is definitely a source of pride for Mazda Philippines to be the showcase of the zoom-zoom showroom concept for Asia outside of Japan. Being in the showroom, our customer will know that we know what they want out of their driving experience, and that we take their need to enjoy their vehicles very seriously, and so we deliver on the promise of superb drive dynamics always, in every model we produce," added Tonette Lee, Brand and Marketing Communications, Mazda Philippines.

Mazda Quezon City is owned and operated by MT Blanc Motor, headed by Mike Cheng. Upon its inauguration, the dealership will be able to provide service to 10 vehicles per day.

"We are proud to be associated with the Mazda brand, and hope to be not only the pioneer dealership but the best performer among the rest, when the other Mazda dealerships come up. In the meantime, we invite everyone to come to Mazda Quezon Avenue, and experience the Mazda difference," said Cheng.
