Ariana Grande back together with ex Ricky Alvarez — reports
MANILA, Philippines — The opening lines of pop singer Ariana Grande's hit songs "Thank U, Next" sees her naming ex-partners Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, and the late Mac Miller, thanking them for the personal development each relationship taught her.
Arianators may be surprised to learn now that the artist is possibly rekindling a relationship with one of them, namely the dancer and photographer Alvarez.
The rumors emerged when Ariana performed "Thank U, Next" last month as part of her "Eternal Sunshine" tour, but the changed lyrics referred to Alvarez from "Now I listen and laugh" to "I know he's still got my back" and "and they still kinda slap."
The singer made another lyric change while performing earlier this week at New York's Barclays Center, where she sang "We always find our way back."
A source confirmed to entertainment outlet People that Ariana and Alvarez were "taking things very slowly," as the Oscar nominee "always considered Ricky a friend."
"She's not held ill will against him [since their split]," the source continued. "Ricky is dependable, trustworthy and very supportive. Ariana feels she can be herself around Ricky."

Ariana and Alvarez, her former backup dancer on her "Honeymoon" tour, dated in 2015 until July 2016.
The source also noted how Ariana enjoys how "funny" Alvarez is and both of them "have a similar, smart, dry sense of humor."
"They're not jumping into anything serious right away, but Ari is happy to have him back in her life," the source ended.
Alvarez and other good friends reportedly spent the Fourth of July holiday weekend with Ariana in Florida, though at the time, there was no indiciation that the exes were again romantically involved.
After the release of "Thank U, Next" in 2018, Ariana was married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez for two years then dated her "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater for three years. The latter ended earlier this year.
