'Pag inggit, pikit': Ellen Adarna explains backstage pass to F4 concert

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ellen Adarna clapped back at a basher who questioned how she gained backstage access at the “F Forever 1st World Tour” concert.

Ellen was among the celebrities who watched the reunion show of Taiwanese boy group F4 at the Philippine Arena last Saturday, June 27.

She posted on social media a video and photo of herself with F4 member Vanness Wu, whom she met backstage at the concert venue.

Many Filipino fans envied Ellen, including one netizen who claimed the actress was given special treatment by the show's producer, Live Nation Philippines.

Ellen reposted the basher's comment on her Instagram Stories. It read, “Sorry, but just wow backstage access! @livenationph u never disappoint us! I’m waiting to see which celebrity or influencer is backstage at BTS.”

Ellen clarified that Live Nation Philippines had nothing to do with her going backstage to meet the Taiwanese-American actor-singer.

She said her friend, model and host Rovilson Fernandez, gave her access to meet Vanness in person.

“Before spreading false information please fact check first. Vanness personally gave us backstage access through his friendship with @rovilsonfernandez. Live Nation had nothing to do with it," she said.

“I’ve been friends with Rovilson since before showbiz, and he’s been good friends with Vanness for years. They simply wanted to catch up, and we were fortunate enough to be invited along. Sometimes it’s simply called friendship. Next time, verify your information before making accusations. Pag inggit, pikit,” she added.

The "F Forever 1st World Tour" concert featured F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu and Vic Chou, joined by Ashin, the lead vocalist of Taiwanese rock band Mayday. Original F4 member Ken Chu did not take part in the reunion tour.
