F4, Ashin donate P5 million to Mindanao quake victims
F4 members Jerry Yan, Van Ness Wu and Vic Chou, along with Taiwanese singer-songwriter Ashin, donate financial assistance to the victims of the recent 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Mindanao. The boy group is set to bring the Philippine stop of its ‘F FOREVER’ 1st World Tour to the Philippine Arena stage on Saturday.

MANILA, Philippines — Ahead of their “F  FOREVER” 1st World Tour stop in Manila, members of the iconic Taiwanese boy band F4 and Ashin donated a total of P5M to the victims of the recent 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Mindanao.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Operation Bayanihan announced on its social media page that Jerry Yan, Van Ness Wu, Vic Chou and Mayday member Ashin had extended financial support to the earthquake victims, donating P2.5M the foundation. They also donated another P2.5M to the ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya program.

Presented by Live Nation Philippines, the F4 and Ashin will grace the Philippine Arena stage on Saturday.

“This humanitarian contribution is dedicated to supporting relief and rehabilitation efforts for families devastated by the recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao,” the GMA Kapuso Foundation said. “Beyond their legendary artistry, the global superstars have consistently shown immense love for their Filipino fans. Through this immediate financial aid, they hope to bring urgent comfort and essential support to displaced communities striving to recover from the natural disaster. This meaningful contribution reflects the group’s enduring bond with the Philippines, further strengthening the connection they have built with Filipino fans through the years,” the foundation added.

On the other hand, the ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya shared that the “generous donation will strengthen the foundation’s relief work for families affected by the earthquake.”

“Since the disaster, the Foundation has joined forces with local partners and communities to deliver urgent aid, from hot meals and food packs to vital supplies and care for children and families,” the organization stated. It also expressed its gratitude to Jerry, Van Ness, Vic, Ashin and Live Nation Philippines for their “generosity and support for the people of Mindanao during this difficult time.”

“By coming together, we can spark hope and extend a helping hand to fellow Filipinos in their time of need,” the ABS-CBN Foundation furthered.
