Ben&Ben, Maki among performers of 1st LaLaLa Fest Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Leading Southeast Asian music festival LaLaLa Fest has released the initial line-up for its first staging in the Philippines.
The festival previously announced that LaLaLa Fest Manila would take place in August, then confirmed it would be on the 21st of the month (a Friday) at the World Trade Center.
Headlining the inaugural event are Grammy winner Steve Lacy and Two Door Cinema Club, the latter marking the 15th anniversary of its debut album "Tourist History."
Other international artists are British girl group Flo, Korean indie group Hoa, Thai trio Kiki, Irish singer Dermot Kennedy, Australian singer Matthew Ifield, and Indosiean artist Isyana Sarasvati.
Leading the local representatives are the bands Ben&Ben, Over October, Dilaw, and Fitterkarma, as well as singer-songwriter Maki. More artists are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Concert promoter Wilbros Live also announced that tickets to LaLaLa Fest Manila will be available beginning June 13, Saturday, at noon via the SM Tickets website and outlets.
Two Door Cinema Club is also headlining the main festival in Indonesia, where the festival is based, happening on August 22 and 23.
Among those joining them there are Rex Orange County, The Flaming Lips, and Kodaline as part of its farewell tour.
