Mga doktor ni Arroyo 'di na pahaharapin sa Senado
MANILA, Philippines - Hindi na ipapatawag ng Senado sa susunod na linggo ang mga doktor ni dating Pangulo at ngayon ay Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo na nahaharap sa kasong electoral sabotage.
Ayon kay Sen. TG Guingona, chairman ng Blue Ribbon Committee, nakita ng komite na sapat na ang mga naging pahayag ng mga doktor ni Arroyo ng humarap sila sa Pasay City Regional Trial Court.
Maliwanag din umano ang naging pahayag ni Dr. Mario Ver, ang Orthopedic Spine Surgeon ng dating pangulo na maaari na itong lumabas ng ospital at maging out-patient.
“The doctors’ statement has clearly established the true and accurate medical condition of Mrs. Arroyo. Dr. Mario Ver, her Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, has testified that she is physically fit to be treated as an out-patient. The Committee has therefore decided that there is no more need to invite the said doctors,” sabi ni Guingona.
