BRT in Manila?

* BRT. Transport planners in Metro Manila have been heard on tv talking about mass transit and the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) was on top of their plan to ease the traffic problem in Metro Manila. This is the same BRT transit system Cebuanos studied years ago to upgrade the traffic system in Cebu.

*SCUTTLED. The BRT was about set for implementation in Cebu but did not push through. One knowledgeable journalist said it was scuttled because it got a thumbs down from decision makers in Manila.
