Boracay, world's best island

- The Freeman News Service - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Matapos pumang-apat noong nakalipas na taon, naging “Best Island in the World” ang pamosong Boracay Island matapos iproklama ng TravelandLeisure.com, isang website na nagpe-features ng mga best destinations at getaways mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.

“The results show that no distance is too great when a fabulous island waits as your reward. So whether your island hopping takes you across the country or around the world, here’s where to go to find secluded beaches, wildlife encounters, and luxurious pampering,” nakasaad sa nasabing website.

Samantala, nasa ikalimang puwesto ang Australia’s Great Barrier Reef Islands.
