P10-M puslit na Pajero nasabat

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Tinatayang aabot sa P10 milyon ang dalawang Pajero na pinaniniwalaang ipupuslit ng walang kaukulang ibinayad na buwis ang nasabat ng mga ahente ng Enforcement and Security Service-Customs Police District (ESS-CPD) sa Naval Supply Depot (NSD) compound kamakalawa.

Napag-alaman sa bagong promote na si Capt. Marlon Alameda, Customs Police District deputy chief at chief for operations, ang dalawang Pajero ay nakapaloob sa 40-footer container van mula sa Hong Kong sakay ng M/V Mathilde Maersk V at dumating noong Oktubre 10, 2002.

Sinabi ni Alameda na ang dalawang mamahaling Pajero ay pag-aari ng Subic Acropolis, Inc., isang rehistradong locator sa Subic Bay Freeport ay idineklarang used utility van na nagkakahalaga ng US$13,000 subalit sa isinagawang spot check ni Rico Reyes, Customs special agent ay pawang luxury vehicles.
