PSL swimmers kakampanya sa Dubai

MANILA, Philippines – Nakatakdang umalis ngayong hapon ang 11-tankers ng  Philippine Swimming League delegation na sasabak sa  2016 Hamilton Aquatics Winter Long Course Swimming Championship na gaganapin sa Disyembre 16 hanggang 18 sa Gems Nations Aca-demy sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mangunguna sa kampanya ng Pinoy tankers sina Philippine junior record holder Jerard Dominic Jacinto ng University of the East, reigning Male Swimming of the Year Sean Terence Zamora ng University of Santo Tomas at National Collegiate Athletic Association champion Sean Elijah Enero ng Mapua Institute of Technology.

Aarangkada naman sa girls’ ca-tegory sina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque, Triza Haileyana Tabamo ng College of Holy Spirit-Tarlac at Kyla Soguilon ng Aklan.

Kasama rin sa delegasyon sina Diliman Preparatory School standouts Paul Christian King Cusing at Albert Sermonia II gayundin sina Palarong Pambansa gold medalist Rio Lorenzo Malapitan ng Divine Word College-Calapan, Drew Benett Magbag ng University of the Philippines at Jeffrey Hirao ng College of Saint Benilde.

“It’s our first time to compete in Middle East and we’re looking forward to another successful campaign. These swimmers are no pushovers. They are raring to compete against the best tankers in the region,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa.

Pakay ng PSL na ipagpatuloy ang magandang kampanya nito sa international competitions matapos humakot ng gintong medalya sa Tokyo Winter Swimming Championship sa Japan noong Pebrero, Indian Ocean All-Star Challenge sa Perth, Australia noong Marso, Stingray Invitational Swimming Championship sa Hong Kong.
