Bagong talento madidiskubre sa Milo Little Olympics National Finals

MANILA, Philippines - Muling makakatuklas ang Milo ng mga bagong talentong maaaring kumatawan sa Pilipinas sa mga international competitions.

Ito ay sa pamamagitan ng pagdaraos ng 2015 Milo Little Olympics National Finals na sisimulan ngayon at matatapos sa Linggo sa Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

“The National Finals is the culminating event of the Milo Little Olympics, where champions are made. It will surely be another thrilling sporting event of our student-athletes and spectators alike,” wika ng Milo Sports Executive na si Robbie De Vera.

Ang mga nagkampeon sa North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao legs ang siyang maglalaban para sa korona sa elementary at high school division.

Ang mga inaasahang babandera ay ang Corpus Christi School, San Beda College-Rizal, Dasmariñas II Central School, Baguio City National High School, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo De Cebu at University of San Carlos.

Tiniyak naman ni Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez ang kahandaan ng kanyang probinsya para sa naturang three-day sports event.

“Lahat ng request nila natugunan ng pamahalaan ng Laguna,” wika ni Hernandez sa mga hiningi ng Milo. “Fit na fit ang aming sports complex para sa Milo Little Olympics National Finals. Lahat ng aspect ay napag-aralan at napaghandaan po namin.”

Ang mga events na nakalatag sa kompetisyon para sa elementary at secondary divisions ay ang badminton, basketball, chess, football, gymnastics, lawn tennis, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, sepak takraw at scrabble. Magiging demonstration sport naman ang arnis at karatedo.
