Wala nang makakapigil sa paghataw ng PSL Grand Prix

MANILA, Philippines - Wala nang makakapigil sa paglarga ng PSL Grand Prix na lalarga bukas sa Alonte Sports Arena sa Biñan, Laguna.

Pormal na nakumpleto ang pagpoproseso ng  International Transfer Certi-ficates (ITC) ng 12 imports na lalaro sa season-ending Grand Prix, ayon kay PSL president Ramon “Tats” Suzara, alinsunod sa alituntunin ng International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) para sa mga foreign players.

Ang ITC ay nire-require upang  ma-regulate at ma-monitor ang mga players na lumalaro sa ibang teams. Kung walang ITC ang isang player ay masususpindi ito ng dalawang taon sa pagsali ng mga torneong sanctioned ng FIVB at ng kani-kanilang national federations.

Ang PSL ay sumusunod sa FIVB mula pa noong 2013.

“We are now sanctioned and in full compliance with one of the main requirements of the FIVB for the third consecutive year after completing the processing of the ITC of all our imports,” sabi ni Suzara, isa ring FIVB member at chairman ng marketing and development committee ng Asian Volleyball Confe-deration (AVC).

Pinasalamatan din ni Suzara ang Larong Volleyball ng Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI) sa pagsuporta sa PSL.

“LVPI plays a key role in this major deve-lopment,” aniya. “Aside from allowing us to send teams to the Asian Club Championships in Taiwan and Vietnam, LVPI was also very supportive in the transfer of our imports. Now, local volleyball fans will have a chance to witness 12 of the world’s best foreign players live in action.”

Pangungunahan ng kasalukuyang Puerto Rican national team member na si Lynda Morales na darating ngayon mula sa pagkampanya sa World Grand Prix  sa Turkey at dating Estonia national team standout Liis Kullerkann ang mga foreign players na hahataw sa Grand Prix.

Makakasama ni Morales si Kansas University star Sara McClinton para pangunahan ang RC Cola-Air Force habang si Kullerkann ay makakatambal ni Palm Beach Atlantic University alum Christina Alessi para sa Meralco.
