ABAP pinagbakasyon ang mga boxers, coaches

MANILA, Philippines - Pinagbakasyon ng Ama­teur Boxing Allian­ces of the Philippines (ABAP) ang mga mi­yembro ng Philippine bo­xing team, kasama ang coaching staff, ng ilang linggong bakasyon pa­ra makasama ang ka­nilang mga pamilya.

“It’s Christmas time. Let them have fun and enjoy,” ani exe­cu­tive director Ed Picson.

Halos karamihan sa kanila ay umuwi ng pro­binsya at ang ilan ay nanatili sa kanilang quarters sa Rizal Memo­rial Sports Complex at sa Teachers Camp sa Ba­guio City.

Nilinaw ng ABAP official na habang nasa bakasyon ay dapat pana­tilihin ng mga boxers ang kanilang timbang.

Ang lahat ng miyembro ng koponan ay dapat magbalik sa training sa Jan. 5. Ang sinumang ma­bigong tumugon sa nasabing direktiba ay pa­patawan ng parusa.

“Regardless of who you are or your status in the team, you need to be back in training on the said date. It’s better if you report back a couple of days ahead,” wika pa ni Picson.
