Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, dapat nang matuloy -- Arum
MACAU – Kagaya ng iba, hindi na rin makapaghintay si Bob Arum na labanan ni Floyd Mayweather Jr. si Manny Pacquiao.
Ilang taon nang inaabangan ng mga fans ang banggaan nina Pacquiao at Mayweather.
At halos dalawang beses na itong muntik nang mangyari.
“I think the fight should happen now. Boxing fans deserve that fight. The fight has to happen. All the nonsense has to cease,” sabi ni Arum.
“Everybody should be working together to make that fight happen. There are no excuses anymore. I’ll be on my phone. Manny will be on his phone,” dagdag pa nito.
Sa isang pagkakataon ay nagkausap sina Pacquiao at Mayweather sa telepono kung saan nila napag-usapan ang kanila sanang laban.
Napaulat na inalok ni Mayweather si Pacquiao ng $40 milyon para sa kanilang upakan at libre na sa anumang pagbaba-yad ng buwis. Ngunit wala ring nangyari.
“We’re tired of it. Eve-ry place we go we’re asked when it’s going to happen. You cannot believe the number of times. From waiters, anybody,” wika ni Arum.
“Enough is enough. Let’s just make the fight happen and let’s get it done the next fight for each fighter sometime the next six months of next year,” sabi pa ng promoter.
Ngayon ay may ilang taong kausap si Arum para matuloy laban.
