'Gas leak?': 15 sugatan sa pagsabog ng Korean restaurant sa Oriental Mindoro
MANILA, Philippines — Lagpas isandosenang katao ang sugatan matapos sumabog ang isang Samgyeopsal restaurant sa Lungsod ng Calapan sa probinsya ng Oriental Mindoro — bagay na pinaghihinalaang nagmula sa pagtagas ng gaas.
Bandang 10:20 a.m. nang sumabog ang Mr. Won's Samgyeopsal Korean Restaurant sa Xentro Mall Calapan, bagay na matatagpuan sa Barangay Lumangbayan.
Kabilang sa mga sugatan ang:
- staff members: 4
- delivery boy: 1
- hindi pa kilalang indibidwal: 10
"Furthermore, twelve (12) vehicles sustained varying degrees of damage. In response, immediate action was taken by activating the Incident Command Post (ICP) in coordination with the BFP, RECU MIMAROPA, TSC under RMFB 4B, and Calapan CDRRMO," ani PBGen. Joel Doria, regional director ng Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, na siyang inilabas ni Calapan Mayor Malou Flores-Morillo.
"In light of this unfortunate event, PRO MIMAROPA would like to assure the public that utmost efforts are being made to ensure their safety and well-being... We understand the concerns and anxieties of the community, and we want to emphasize that the situation is being given the highest priority."
Malapit namang nakikipagtulungan ang mga alagad ng batas sa Bureau of Fire Protection ypang makalikom ng sapat na ebidensya at impormasyon para makapagkasa ng masusing imbestigasyon.
Makikita sa ilang litrato na nadamay din sa pagsabog ang mga establisyamentong katabi ng samgyupsalan. Basag tuloy ang mga salamin ng katabi nitong bakery at doughnut chain na Red Ribbon at Dunkin'.
Ang huli ay bagong gawa lang na nakatakda sanang magbukas sa Biyernes.
Personal namang kinamusta ni Flores-Morillo ang lagay ng mga biktima na siyang nagpapagaling ngayon sa Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital at Maria Estrella General Hospital.
"We urge the public to remain calm and cooperative with the authorities. Any information related to the incident that may assist the investigation should be promptly reported to the nearest police station or through the designated hotlines," patuloy pa ni Doria.
