Harden pipirma na sa Rockets

HOUSTON--Isang long-term extension contract ang nakatakdang pirmahan ni James Harden para sa Houston Rockets ba­go ang pagbubukas ng regular season.

Nakasama na ang Sixth Man of the Year sa Houston Rockets noong Linggo matapos i-trade ng Okla­ho­­ma City Thunder noong Sabado.

Sa pagdadala kay Har­den sa Houston, naku­ha ng Thunder sina guards Kevin Martin at Je­remy Lamb, ang da­­lawang first-round picks at isang second-round pick.

Ibinigay naman sa Rockets sina center Cole Aldrich at forwards Daequan Cook at Lazar Hayward.

“It happened so fast, it happened very fast,” sabi ni Harden. “But this is the position I’m in now. Just have to make the best out of it. I’m with Houston now. I just have to come in here and play hard and win games.”

Ayon kay Thunder ge­neral manager Sam Presti, nabigyan ng Rockets si Harden ng magandang kon­trata na hindi maibibigay ng Oklahoma City.

“Quite honestly, the va­lue of the trade was greater based on the fact that the Rockets could offer him the con­tract that he was seeking,” ani Presti.
