17 Chinese warships namonitor sa West Philippine Sea

MANILA, Philippines — Namonitor ang 17 Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) warship vessels at 161 iba pang sasakyang pandagat ng China sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Ayon kay Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad, Spokesman ng Philippine Navy sa WPS, sa pinakahuling monitoring nasa kabuuang 178 Chinese ships ang naispatan sa WPS mula Setyembre 24-30.

Lima sa PLAN ships ay nasa bisinidad ng Escoda (Sabina) Shoal at tig-2 sa Ayungin, Pagasa Island, Iroquis Reef, at tig-isa naman sa Bajo de Masinloc (Scarborough Shoal), Parola Island, Likas Island, Lawak Island, Panata Island at Rizal Reef.

Namonitor din sa WPS features ang 131 pang Chinese Maritime Militia Vessels (CMMVs), 28 China Coast Guard Vessels (CCGVs) at dalawang Chinese Research Survey Vessels (CRSVS).

“Amid all of these, your Navy and your AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) will contribute (to) performing its mandate of ensuring the integrity of our national territory,” sabi pa ni Trinidad.
