Recruitment ng China sa mga sundalo iniimbestigahan na — DND

MANILA, Philippines — Pinaiimbestigahan na ng Department of National Defense (DND) sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang napaulat na recruitment ng China sa mga aktibo at retiradong personnel ng militar dahilan sa kanilang background sa trabaho para gamitin ang mga ito sa pangangalap ng impormasyon. 

“A guidance was given to the AFP to investigate and to look into this modus operandi. The DND has directed the AFP to investigate this,” pahayag ni Defense Spokesman Arsenio Andolong. 

“It will require more interagency investigation kasi sa cyber it’s very diffi­cult to determine yung foot­print nitong mga ‘to if they want to hide themselves,” ayon kay Andolong. 

“We did pick up the acti­vity. I cannot talk about it kasi it’’s a new issue but nagbigay na ng guidance,” dagdag pa ng opisyal. 

Sa panig naman ni AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., kasalukuyan na nilang inaalam ang katotohanan sa nasabing report. 

Magugunita na ibinulgar ng Department of Information and Communications Technology DICT)  na naghihinala silang nagpapanggap ang mga nagre-recruit na Chinese compa­nies na mga American at European enterprises para makahikayat ng mare-recruit.

Una na ring sinabi ni DICT Undersectary for Cyber­security and Upskilling Jeffrey Ian Dy na ang nasabing mga firms ay nag-aalok sa mga target na Filipino recruits na mag-partime jobs bilang mga online analyst.
