Kabilang sa mga sasampahan ng kasong kriminal at administratibo ay sina Morales, Senior Vice President (SVP) Jovita Aragona, Officer in Charge Calixto Gabuya Jr., SVP Renato Limsiaco Jr., SVP Israel Pargas, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Arnel de Jesus, at Division Chief Bobby Crisostomo.

MANILA, Philippines — Inaprubahan ni Pa­ngulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng task force PhilHealth na sampahan ng kasong kriminal at administratibo ang nagbitiw na si Philippine Health Insurance Corp. Ricardo Morales at ilang executives kaugnay sa iregularidad sa state insurer.

Mismong si Pangulong Duterte ang nagbasa ng rekomendasyon ng task force sa public address nito, kamakalawa ng gabi.

Kabilang sa mga sasampahan ng kasong kriminal at administratibo ay sina Morales, Senior Vice President (SVP) Jovita Aragona, Officer in Charge Calixto Gabuya Jr., SVP Renato Limsiaco Jr., SVP Israel Pargas, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Arnel de Jesus, at Division Chief Bobby Crisostomo.

Para naman sa task force, ang mga ebidensiya at resulta ng kanilang imbestigasyon ay nagbigay suporta sa kanilang konklusyon na may ilang opisyal ng  PhilHealth ang lumabag sa  Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

Sinabi rin ng Pangulo na maaari namang patunayan ng mga sasampahan ng kaso na sila ay ino­sente kapag nagkaroon na ng paglilitis.

 “I’m sorry for them, but they will have to undergo trial, although they can always prove their guilt beyond reasonable doubt. The presumption of innocence is still attached,” ani Duterte.

Samantala, tanging “admonition” o paalala ang inirekomendang igawad kay PhilHealth chairman na si Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
