DASMARINAS, CAVITE — Sumandal ang Barangay Ginebra kina import Justin Brownlee at Stephen Holt sa dulo ng final canto para resbakan ang San Miguel, 99-94, sa Game Three ng Season 49 PBA Governors’ Cup semifinal series kahapon dito sa Dasmariñas City Arena sa Cavite.

Bumangon ang Gin Kings mula sa kabiguan sa Game Two para agawin ang 2-1 lead sa kanilang best-of-seven showdown ng Beermen.

Wagi ang Ginebra sa Game One, 122-105, habang nakatabla ang San Miguel sa Game Two via overtime, 131-125.

Humakot si Brownlee ng 30 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists at 5 blocks para mu­ling banderahan ang Gin Kings, habang nag-ambag si Holt ng 11 markers.

May 22 points si Japeth Aguilar, ang 14 ay iniskor niya sa first half, kasunod ang 15 markers ni Mave­rick Ahanmisi.

“We defended so much better tonight. We played playoff defense tonight, and I thought that was r­eally the key. And we extended it all the way,” ani coach Tim Cone.
