MANILA, Philippines — Itinanghal na Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awardee si Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (BEST) tanker Mikhael Jasper ‘Mikee’ Mojdeh sa katatapos na 2024 Asian Open Schools Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships na ginanap sa Bangkok, Thailand.

Nagpasiklab ang Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque standout na si Mojdeh sa boys’ 9-year division matapos umani ng kabuuang 385 puntos.

Galing ito sa pitong ginto, isang pilak at isang tansong medalya na nasisid nito para makuha ang MOS trophy sa naturang dibisyon.

Magarbong sinimulan ni Mojdeh ang kampan­ya nito matapos pagha­rian ang 200m Individual Medley sa bilis na tatlong minuto at 4.74 segundo.

Sinundan ito ni Mojdeh ng dalawang ginto sa 100m freestyle tangan ang 1:14.70 at 50m butterfly bitbit ang 38.74 segundo.

Muling rumatsada sa huling araw ng kumpetisyon si Mojdeh nang sunud-sunod nitong kubrahin ang ginto sa 50m backstroke (38.99), 50m breaststroke (44.71), 100m butterfly (1:27.23) at 100m backstroke (1:23.25).

Maliban sa ginto, nakapilak din si Mojdeh sa 50m freestyle (34.60) habang may tanso rin ito sa 200m freestyle (2:43.94).

“It is nice to be back in Bangkok again. I was here last February, for the Long Course champs and I really enjoyed it. The swimmers are fast and I like swimming with them because it makes me improve my time,” ani Mojdeh.

Maliban kay Mojdeh, nagdagdag ng dalawang tansong medalya para sa BEST squad si Kaidyn Waskiewicz sa girls’ 10-11 200m backstroke (3:05.20) at 100m backstroke (1:25.61).
