Megan hindi na puwedeng i-deny ni Mikael Daez!

Now confirmed na ngang talaga na ang Star Magic talent na si Megan Young at ang GMA Artists Center actor na si Mikael Daez ay mag-on na ngang talaga.

Kitang-kita ang ebidensiya when recently ay napanalunan ni Megan ang titulong Miss World Philippines. Nagre-rave talaga nang husto si Mikael, who witnessed the event with Megan’s young sister Lauren, herself a GMA 7 talent.

For a time kasi the two were not quite open about their relationship. Well, expect the two of them, henceforth, na ’di na magpapa-kiyeme pa na sila na nga.

Actually, Megan, everyone thought, was a beauty queen material. She is pretty and carries herself with an air akin to beauty queens.

But it was only lately, she admitted, na nagkaroon siya ng lakas ng loob to join a beauty contest. Feel niya raw kasi na unless she tried it ay ’di niya malalaman kung may pag-asa siyang manalo at ayaw daw naman niyang itanong sa sarili later ang “what if?”

Nakatakdang umalis ang actress-beauty queen for Indonesia where the 63rd Miss World edition will held on Sept. 28. Sumama kaya sa kanya si Mikael doon?

Besides the title of Miss World, six special awards were also given to Megan: Best in Fashion Runaway, Miss Sports, Miss World Laguna, Miss Bold and Glamorous, Ms. Olay, and Miss Bench Body.

Megan is currently enrolled at St. Benilde College in Manila where she is taking up a course in digital filmmaking.

Although an ABS-CBN talent nga, Megan is seen doing shows for TV5. She was last featured sa Misibis Bay, a series that features homegrown talent Ritz Azul.

Kaye walang paki kahit kontrabida lang

Kaye Abad doesn’t mind being lately branded as a kontrabida. Never mind if in the past, her dream was to be a bida sa pelikula at telebisyon.

Ang pagiging effective ni Kaye bilang kontrabida ay, wika nga, napansin sa Angelito, Ang Batang Ama. Currently, she’s plays a wicked stepmom to Andrea Brillante in the afternoon series Annaliza.

’Di ba natatakot si Kaye na dahil sa kanyang ginagawang pang-aapi kay Andrea sa Annaliza ay magalit sa kanya ang batang fans ng aktres?

“Feel ko nag-mature na ang ating mga te­leviewer at maging ang mga moviegoer,” sagot ni Kaye.

“And guess what? The more they hate me sa portrayal ko sa bawat project na aking ginagawa, the more I’m convinced na humuhusay nga ako bilang kontrabida, Proud siyempre ako.”

Before na-link siya sa isang band singer sa kasalukuyan, hindi isinisikreto ni Kaye na naging sila ng controversial vocalist ng Parokya ni Edgar. Seven years silang naging mag-on, aniya, at possible nga raw sanang naging Mrs. Chito Miranda siya.

Ayaw mag-elaborate ni Kaye ng dahilan ng kanilang falling out ni Chito. Basta hanggang ngayon daw ay friends sila.

In the early years of their career, common know­ledge na naging big crush siya ng box-office star na si John Lloyd Cruz.

Would Kaye agree to do a project with him?

“Basta maganda ang project, why not?” sagot ni Kaye.

Eh si John Lloyd, pumayag kaya?
