Barba sinungkit ang silver sa mountain bike downhill

Jakarta -- Inangkin ni Jo­ey Barba ang unang me­dalya ng bansa sa cycling event ng 26th SEA Games ma­tapos sikwatin ang silver me­dal sa mountain bike downhill competitions dito sa Gunung Pencar course sa Sentul City, West Java.

Nagtala si Barba, nag­bul­sa ng ginto sa Manila SEA Games noong 2005, ng tiyempong 02:32.443 sa ilalim ni Pornomo Pornomo ng Indonesia na nagsumite ng bilis na 2:31.451 para sa pagbulsa niya sa gold me­­dal.

Kinuha naman ni Tanaphon Jarupeng ng Thailand ang bronze medal mula sa kanyang 2.35.929 oras.
