Wade dalawang linggo pang magpapahinga dahil sa injury
MIAMI – Kasama si Dwyane Wade sa biyahe ng Miami Heat ngunit hindi pa siya makakalaro kasama nina LeBron James at Chris Bosh.
Ang sumasakit na right hamstring injury ni Wade ang nagpuwersa sa kanya na umupo sa team practice ng Heat isang araw matapos buksan ang kanilang pre-season game laban sa Detroit Pistons.
Iniupo si Wade ni Fil-Am coach Erik Spoesltra sa bench sa 3 minuto at 17 segundo sa first period.
“Hopefully it’s not too bad,” ani Spoelstra said. “Right now, we’ll treat it, hoping it responds quicker.”
"Today is the first day of the road to recovery," sabi ni Wade.
Halos dalawang linggo ang ipapahinga ni Wade at umaasa siyang makakalaro sa NBA season opener sa Oktubre 26 kontra sa Celtics.
"They assembled the team the right way for the long haul," ani James sa Celtics. "We've got a guy out, a great player that's out right now and probably be out for a few weeks, if less. And we've got guys who can step up."
