"We are getting so many calls from sports and entertainment stars," sambit kahapon ni Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions. "This is going to be a premier sports event."

Itinakda ni Arum ang laban nina Pacquiao at Cotto sa Nobyembre 14 sa MGM Grand Garden Arena sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

"I enjoy being around people who are just as competitive, who have the same passion and work ethic," wika ni Bryant, iginiya ang Lakers sa paghahari sa 2009 NBA Finals kontra Orlando Magic. "If I don't have a game that night I'll be there."
