‘Habambuhay’: Vice Ganda inks fresh contract with ABS-CBN

MANILA, Philippines – Vice Ganda renewed his contract with ABS-CBN and teased a new project with GMA-7.
The box-office host and actor signed a new deal with ABS-CBN on Friday, August 7.
“Pumirma na ulit ako ng kontrata sa ABS-CBN, ang aking pagpapatuloy ng pagiging Kapamilya. I am very, very happy. Actually, kahit wala namang contract, habang-buhay akong Kapamilya. Isang malaking honor and privilege na matawag na Kapamilya,” Vice told ABS-CBN's "TV Patrol."
Vice also confirmed that a project with GMA-7 is in the works. His top-rated noontime show, “It’s Showtime,” currently airs on GMA-7 from Mondays to Saturdays.
“Sa lahat naman ng projects ko, kung saang platform man ako makita, hindi puwedeng hindi ko kasama ang ABS. Sa lahat ng project na gagawin ko sa ibang platforms ay kasama ko ang ABS,” he ended.
Vice Ganda returns to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in his first-ever top-billed collaboration with fellow MMFF star, Vic Sotto. They will headline “The Greatest Showdown,” one of the first four official entries in the annual film festival, which opens on Christmas Day, December 25.
Vice won his first MMFF Best Actor trophy at last year’s awards for the Star Cinema entry “Call Me Mother.”
