In a post shared on her Facebook account, Herlene uploaded a screenshot of the alleged conversation. According to the conversation, the sender asked if she was available for a one-night stand for P150,000.
Herlene rejected the proposal and responded with a strongly worded message, telling the sender to keep the money and instead use it to help the people in the province under his leadership.
"Women are not for sale!" she captioned the post.
The actress did not identify the governor by name, and no independent verification has been made regarding the identity of the individual shown in the conversation.
Her post quickly gained attention online, with many social media users expressing support for Budol and praising her for speaking out against what she described as inappropriate behavior.
