Nadine Lustre not afraid to give opinion on important issues
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Nadine Lustre is not afraid to give her opinion on important issues and problems of the country.
The actress said she will stand up for all her beliefs on political matters, especially regarding corruption and theft in the government.
In an interview with broadcast journalist and news anchor Karen Davila for her YouTube channel, one of the things she and Nadine discussed was her vocal stance in fighting corruption in the government.
“Iilan lang kayong ganyan. I mean, tinanong ko ‘to kay Vice Ganda, ‘yong iba takot. Hindi ka ba natatakot?” Karen asked Nadine.
“Not really. I think, I’m the kind of person who really stands for what I believe in. Unfortunately, a lot of things going on and it’s something you can’t stomach,” Nadine said.
“You know, it’s really, really hard to be okay with how our fellow Filipinos are being treated, how everything is treated in our country,” she added.
Nadine is one of the celebrities who campaigned and supported the presidential candidacy of former Vice President Leni Robredo in the 2022 presidential elections.
