The 100th year of the Fatima apparitions

This Saturday, May 13th, could be a significant day in human history because it is the 100th anniversary of the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima, Portugal. It was on May 13, 1917, three children, named Lucia, Jacinta, and Francesco were pasturing their flock at the Cova da Iria, when suddenly a bright shaft of light came upon them. The lady spoke to them and said: "Fear not! I will not harm you." "Where are you from?" the children asked. "I am from heaven" the beautiful lady replied, gently raising her hand towards the distant horizon. "What do you want of me?" Lucia asked. " I came to ask you to come here for six consecutive months, on the thirteenth day, at this same hour. I will tell you later who I am and what I want."

So between now on May 13th and on October 13th, we could be witnesses to a worldwide catastrophe that the world has never seen. Here in the Philippines we have been experiencing numerous earthquakes in Mindanao with uncanny regularity. The Blessed Virgin Mary's last appearance in Fatima came on Oct. 13, 1917, which was the most famous. Because an estimated 70,000 people were in attendance at the Cova di Ira, who heard about the apparition of the Blessed Virgin and fully expected her that to work some kind of great miracle.

It was raining hard that day and the earth was so muddy. Then the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared before the three children and suddenly a silvery disc came out from the dark clouds and many saw the sun dancing around and even coming close to the earth, which terrified the crowd. This great miracle lasted 10 minutes, but when it was over the thousands who witnessed this event who were drenched by the rain had all dried up. But none of them burned because of the sun.

By now you must have already known about the apparitions at Fatima, when God asked for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Pope in union with all of the bishops of the world. Our Lady of Fatima said that if the Consecration of Russia was done, Russia would be converted and there would be peace. However, if the Pope and the bishops did not obey the request, Our Lady said that Russia would spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecution of the Church and of the Holy Father, the martyrdom of the good and the annihilation of nations.

I strongly believe that the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary was never completed, otherwise, as the Blessed Virgin Mary promised the children, there would be world peace. Open your TV sets today and you will see a world in turmoil but still no peace!

Once again, the yellowtards were agog with the unexpected visit by Agnes Callamard, the United Nations rapporteur on extra judicial killings (EJK) in Manila last week because they believed that she would get first-hand information of EJK in the country. But sources say that she was in the Philippines for a forum on Human Rights, which had nothing to do with the investigation that was expected to happen with the complaint filed against Pres. Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte with the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

Apparently, the Philippine STAR last Sunday came up with a quote from Philippine ambassador to the United Nations Teodoro Locsin Jr. who said in a Twitter post, "Thank you, Agnes. The ICC case is dead. Trust me on this. Dead as a door nail." While Locsin did not come up with any explanation on his twitter post, Locsin added, "She says to attend an academic conference but she effectively disqualified herself from any further official role investigating the drug war." Locsin accused Callamard of abusing her position when she was only here for an academic conference.

Meanwhile, there is a Philippine delegation leaving for the UN composed of deputy executive secretary for legal affairs Menardo Guevarra, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, and Undersecretary Severo Catura of the Presidential Human Rights Committee tasked to explain the illegal drug campaign to the Human Rights groups in the UN. Let's see if the UN listens to them.
