Most school kids have celfone

CELFONE.  A personal survey made by a public elementary school principal here in Cebu showed that "nearly all pupils" in the 5th and 6th grades under him have cellular phones some of which are "more modern than mine," he said. The principal said his survey was done not really just for fun but to find out the truth of stories reaching him that most kids in his school have mobile phones.

USEFUL. The principal told an Ear informer that most of the graders he talked with "have the approval of their parents" to possess mobile phones because "it is useful in keeping track" of the kids, among others. The principal also said the kids' parents have "always reminded" them to beware of cellphone robbers.
