Banana peeling

THE EAR - The Freeman

CAUCASIAN WOMAN. A Caucasian woman was seen talking to a schoolboy of about 7 or 8 years old along a Colon sidewalk. She was fondling the boy's hair as she talked to him. An Ear informer said the woman told him she was touched by what she had seen the boy did. “He picked up a banana skin (peeling) from the road and kept holding it as there was no trash or garbage container around,” the woman said.

HEROIC ACT. “It was kind of heroic act what the boy did,” said the Caucasian woman who happened to be a Protestant evangelist. “Come to think of it,” she said, “anyone could have stepped on that banana peeling, slid, and broke a limb the road being wet and slippery.” In a way, “gisalbar sa bata ang si kinsa man nga nakatunob atong panit sa saging,” our informer said.
