Photo taken without permission

PICTURE TAKING. Is there a law which prohibits anyone from taking the picture of someone without his/her knowledge and publishing the picture without his/her consent? The question was asked by a businesswoman who said her photo was taken without her knowledge and then published without her permission.

. The businesswoman said she was just standing by waiting for a taxi when someone took her picture and walked away. A few days later she saw her picture in the newspaper. The newspaper, she said, was based in an Eastern Visayan city. “Is there a law on this?” she asked.
