Two cockroaches in a barong

TWO COCKROACHES. A male schoolteacher from Labangon who brought home a barong Pilipino from Manila was shocked to see two dead cockroaches inside the barong, which was well folded. “Wa na lang nako bungkaga ang maayong pagka pilo sa barong kay unya pa man nako gamita sa birthday sa akong asawa,” the teacher said. When the wife unfolded the barong they saw two dead cockroaches, which left stains on the shirt.

A LESSON LEARNED. The teacher said he has learned a lesson from what he called his “sad experience.” When buying a well-folded shirt, he said, always open it and see if there’s nothing wrong with the shirt. “Labi na kon gipalit ang sapot sa layo nga dapit sama sa Manila,” he said. “Unsaon pa man nimo pag-uli o pagpailis.”
