A British medical company has invented an erection-enhancing condom and has applied for approval to market the product in Europe.

It’s called Durex. It’s really not a Viagra as you guys — or some of you guys — know. It’s actually a condom which can do what the blue pill can albeit in another way

In a manner of speaking, this condom, I’m sure, can’t be acceptable to those who want the condom to play its normal role. Not to incite the user to let the cookie crumble in a different way.

The news report says the Spratlys are being claimed wholly by China. Repeat: wholly. And partly by the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Brunei. Commenting on this, my friend Noy Temyong says; “Ilahon ang tanan, momho ray ato kon naa pay momho mahibilin.”

It says here that Makati City has banned loud music. Karaoke and videoke music that have “no charm to soothe the savage breast” to quote a poet. City authorities led by Mayor Jejomar Erwin Binay Jr. have responded favorable to city residents’ complaint against this nuisance.

We have the same nuisance here in Cebu. Many have complained but no one it seems is listening. Can’t hear the complaints because of the noise from the karaoke joints?
