Mayor Mike says he wants to work with people he can trust. Not those he can trash?

 Hizzoner says it loud and clear: He doesn’t want CH people who are lazy and corrupt. These people will have to go and get lost.

 “Mayor Mike’s predecessor has never been heard to have spoken strongly against lazy and corrupt people during his watch,” said Noy Temyong. “He has only been heard to have made known his strong dislike against his successor.”

 One observer said: “CH people who are lazy and corrupt are not inherently lazy. They can rise from their seats quick and work fast if properly oiled.”

 In many government offices, oil and corruption always go together. If you don’t believe, try using oil if your papers don’t move.

 Someone sent me a tearsheet — badly crumpled — from an obscure magazine called “Sunset.” There was an article entitled “Rise and Shine.” It was about old men married to girls described by my friend Ben Ypil as spring chicken. Here are samples...

 Ramon Rey Sabando, 81, of Rio de Janeiro, is married to his caregiver Margarita, 21; Kenji Ito, 88, of Hokkaido, Japan, is married to Michiko Miura, 19, a hospice nursing aide.

 Lope Pascual Que, 90, from Lima, is married to Maria Zenna, 21, a chambermaid; Hans Krause, 87, from Berlin is soon to be married to Anita Baden, 22, his personal caregiver.

But here’s a fly in the ointment. A 79-year-old man and his 24-year-old love were found dead in a Pasay motel where they apparently had their Last Hurrah.
