A way of giving hope to a firm's wage earners

The general manager of a private firm here bought 15 grand lotto tickets (jackpot expected to hit more than P250 million) for distribution to as many wage earners in his company. “Mao ra nay paglaum nga mahatag ko kaninyo alang sa maayong kaugmaon,” the GM said as he distributed the tickets. “We’re in this game together,” he said. “Kon palaron pareho tang mamilyonaryo.” But no luck. The wage-earners continue to be just that.

HIS WAY. “That’s his way of giving us hope,” one wage-earner (an electrician) told an Ear informer. “Iya sad ning buhaton atol sa iyang birthday ug panahon sa Pasko.” He said that their boss’ way is being copied by other key corporate officials of other companies.
