Loafing solons killed Info Act

My friend Nanding T., a retired school principal, says he's in favor of sex education but it must be taught in adult classes. Hehe. Adult students are already sex educated.

Speaking of spoon and fork, a Malaysian journalist who was with me during the Asean Journalists Exchange program told me in a recent e-mail that he has introduced the "kinamot" eating style in his restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.

While in Manila, waiting for the start of our six-country Asean tour, Paul Chong (he's Chinese Malaysian) and I happened to have dinner in Kamayan restaurant where eating with the hands was the style.

Paul, who has already retired from journalism, has gone into the restaurant business. In his eatery in KL he has set aside a place where diners could eat without using spoon and fork and even chopsticks too. Only "kinamot."

"It was an instant hit," Paul said. "Now there are two other restaurants that have followed my style."
